PARTS RECEIVING CLERK – CRAIG, CO

This position is responsible for receiving, inspecting, and distributing parts to the parts department, service department, and body shop, as well as preparing and shipping out parts orders for our customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Receive incoming parts shipments, verify accuracy against purchase orders, and inspect for quality and condition
  • Process and distribute parts to the parts department, service department, and body shop in a timely manner
  • Prepare and ship out parts orders for customers, ensuring accurate packaging and documentation
  • Maintain accurate inventory records using computer applications including JD Parts®, Parts Expert®, JD Point®, PartsAdvisor®, barcode system, and Dealer Business System
  • Communicate effectively with parts department staff, service technicians, and customers to ensure smooth operations
  • Assist with inventory integrity by conducting regular stock checks and resolving discrepancies
  • Provide excellent customer service when handling inquiries related to parts shipments or deliveries
  • Routinely lift items weighing up to 50 lbs
  • Execute parts department standard processes to ensure internal and external customer satisfaction
  • Maintain a positive and professional working relationship with peers, management, and support resources, with a constant commitment to teamwork

Requirements:

  • 1+ years of parts receiving, inventory management, or equivalent warehouse experience
  • Demonstrated ability to connect with colleagues and customers, maintaining a professional image
  • Basic understanding of inventory and receiving processes
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously with a degree of independence
  • Experience using standard desktop applications such as Microsoft Office and internet applications
  • Experience working both independently and in a team setting
  • Demonstrates excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • High School Diploma or equivalent work experience
